Currently, the Snap Store GUI has no Flatpak plugin that upstream GNOME Software includes. This makes installing and managing Flatpak software really hard on Ubuntu.
The only possible solution is to install the "gnome-software-plugin-flatpak" package that will install non-Snap version of GNOME Software with its Flatpak plugin, then uninstalling Snap Store (because having two installations of GNOME Software at the same time is not a good idea). This is not ideal and not suitable for (regular) end-users.
Please, consider adding the Flatpak plugin to Snap Store for Ubuntu 22.04. Thanks! |
