A fix has been released to 2024.1/edge. In short, it creates a space based on the management cidr, and binds all machine application to this space. The microceph charm is making use of spaces to bootstrap its inner daemon (responsible of handing out the tokens containing the calico address).

The space for the bootstrap process (charm microceph) can only be set before the bootstrap happens, can't be modified afterwards. So this will be effective only on a new deployment.
