3. rotating page correctly
4. pressing scan again
5. Close simple-scan
6. restart simple-scan
now it retains the correct orientation on subsequent scans.
Although the problem is now solved and the orientation is now correct, I still think of this as a bug because, the very FIRST time simple-scan is used, the default orientation is wrong.
This being an "easy to use" program, the user should not have to resort to the steps above to get the correct orientation.
Note that if step #4 (4. pressing scan again) above is omitted the correct orientation is not retained after the re-start of simple-scan.
