I see :-)
however "Before profiling the device, you have to manually capture an image of the calibrated target" sounds as though it's less than simple - unless there's one printed on the cover of every ubuntu cd :-D
plus from the looks of it there's no simple gui tool for generation of custom profiles from slider settings?
