Lets see if changing the shortcut helps.

As ROOT open the following file

/usr/lib/scribes/GenericPlugins/RecentOpen/Trigger.py

Change the keyboard shortcut on line 21 from "ctrl+alt+r" to "alt+a".

Restart Scribes.

Wait a few seconds for all the plugins to load.

Press alt+a
