Bug Description
steps to reproduce:
1. open scratch
2. open a terminal
3. cd folderwithfile
4. scratch-text-editor file
5. it will not work and gives this error:
[_LOG_LEVEL_WARN 21:23:28.791945] Scratch.vala:192: Error when getting information for file '/home/
The file is in /home/phillip/
