some progress info:
1. i've already got the patch that only adds full repositories (not updates only)
2. MageiaUpdate part, i've been looking around, doing some debugging, but i can't quite get to the point where it's supposed to be, especially since it states to use searchmedia...
3. i'm gonna start at urpmi --update next, and skip MageiaUpdate, until i've got this one. likely the code could be similar so, i'll detect it hopefully better where it needs the change.
still, i've spent a few hours for a couple of days on this. if anyone who knows this code can help me point to something, you'd be very welcome...
