The manpower hardly exists in QA to continue to workaround it across two releases either! The workload will already be doubled simply because there are now two releases with two architectures to perform QA upon. Mistakes are bound to happen.

This was first reported in July last year. If it is a 'Wontfix' then it should be closed as such.

A new scenario for this bug has been found to be when doing updates during an installation. It fails on packages due to recursive deps of added suggests. The added suggest cannot be installed. See bug 3545.
