Comment 1 for bug 913213

Description of problem:

When clicking a rpm package file, a message appears in the taskbar and shows "Opening ...", but later it disappaers and there is no other response for a very long time. When I almost forget the file, suddenly a message pops up and asks whether I will install the file. I click "no", and an error message says "InstallFiles not yet supported by backend".

I have tried "rpm --rebuilddb", but the problem is not solved. What happened with the rpm installer? Is it a bug or the problem of my computer's system?

I don't remember when such a problem started to appear. However, I clearly remember that Alpha 1 did not have the problem.
