Try "man popt". One of the -i usage cases that you are trying to
"document" is configurable (see /usr/lib/rpm/rpmpopt). Which means
that it can be changed, overriddeen, deleted, translated, and otherwise
altered by users howsoever they wish.

You will never succeed documenting RPM "options" unless you understand
popt aliases and execs, and how they are used in RPM.
