I downloaded an album and the genre was wrong so I corrected it in Rhythmbox. When I checked next my songs were gone from the library! When I went back to the store all my songs were queued up again and eventually I got them all back with the original metadata.
It took only about 5 minutes to get the album back but for those 5 minutes I was panicking that I had lost data.
My made up theory:
Something in U1 said "hey wait a minute, he's supposed to have this Pantera album and I checked the files and the checksum is wrong, let me send it again" |

EDIT: Forgot the steps to reproduce:
1) Download a song
2) Change the id3 metadata, like album or genre or something.
3) Observe the client
