Bug Description

I downloaded an album and the genre was wrong so I corrected it in Rhythmbox. When I checked next my songs were gone from the library! When I went back to the store all my songs were queued up again and eventually I got them all back with the original metadata.

It took only about 5 minutes to get the album back but for those 5 minutes I was panicking that I had lost data.

My made up theory:
Something in U1 said "hey wait a minute, he's supposed to have this Pantera album and I checked the files and the checksum is wrong, let me send it again"

EDIT: Forgot the steps to reproduce:
1) Download a song
2) Change the id3 metadata, like album or genre or something.
3) Observe the client

Earlier last week I experienced bug 561484, but this morning it was apparent that things had progressed to the same state as Jorge observes. It looks like bug 561484 is merely the first stage of this larger problem (and the fact that it was observable before tracks were deleted is perhaps down to bug 551755).
