I successfully build and install referencer 1.2.2 from source on ubuntu 18.04 (just need to patch the bug #1645639) and then :
./configure
make
make install
I also tried to make a snap with the basic online beginner guide... I almost get it working. I make the snap from referencer-1.2.2 on ubuntu 18.0 (see the attached .yaml file to run snapcraft):
snapcraft --no-parallel-builds
snap install referencer_1.2.2_amd64.snap --dangerous --devmode
snap run referencer => failed du to missing dependency... (but the bin created in prime/bin/referencer works fine !)
This software is great for managing bibliography thus I will be interested to help to maintain this package/software. But I have only few basic knowledge in software management/developpement...
