Comment 4 for bug 724078

I am using Redshift on Ubuntu 16.04 and this white mouse cursor issue is really annoying. I tried the software pointer but it is very buggy. Sometimes the pointer disappears and you have to shake it until it appears again. So I am back to the hardware pointer. But it looks very bad on a color-adjusted screen. If solution proposed in #2 is feasible I would really appreciate it to be implemented. Thanks!
