as a longtime linux user i prefer the keyboard. I don't have a mouse, but sometimes I use my touchpad for mouse operations. When I connect the camera I usually have up to 1000 images that need to be backed up with RPD. these are mainly pictures that i collected with my smartphone over a long period of time, about 9 to 12 months. My workflow with RPD then looks like this: First, I just click in the timeline and use the cursor keys to scroll up and down the timeline to get an overview of the preferred job codes I want to use for. when I found a bunch of images that should get the same job code. I usually hold down Shift and use the cursor key to select an area. When scrolling down faster and faster, it often happens that I select an area that is too large and want to reduce the marked area with the cursor up. but this doesn't work like the regular mark/select function that the Linux system provides with the keyboard and shift/cursor keys. in the RPD timeline I can only enlarge the area with the shift cursor up/down. both at the top and bottom of the selected area. so i am often forced to go back to the earlier date and have to re-select the entire range. I hope I was able to explain clearly enough the problem i often stumble around when using RDP.
