On second thoughts it looks like it might be an easy fix due to an outdated decorator I was using. I'll need to test it with PyQt 5.6 though, which I don't have.
It's interesting Debian is going wiht PyQt 5.6 & Qt. 5.5 whereas Fedora 23 has PyQt 5.5 & Qt 5.6.
