One thing to consider is that the user will be unable to click on the small popup, because it will disappear when they move the mouse off the URL. If you just want to take a photo of it, that isn't a problem, but if you want to right-click on it to copy the image then that won't be possible. Any way to let the user "freeze" the QR code on the screen?
