I'm using a window manager (bspwm) that lets you create desktops--more commonly known as (virtual) workspaces. Whenever I switch focus from a workspace with a qpdfview window to another workspace, qpdfview no longer shows any search results on refocus of its workspace and I have to run the search again. I've tested that the extended search dock setting doesn't influence this faulty behavior. |
