When there is no TOC for a PDF document, the outline panel just shows page numbers (Page 1, Page 2, etc). Occasionally when there are "noval" page numbering (like roman numerals) this could be useful, but when there is not, the outline appears to be useless. I know I could hide it with a shortcut key; but I hope it could be done automatically.
