Hi Chris,

aqis > How do you know PeX is still on?

When you look at the* trackers status icon box* [bottom left], (next to
general, peers, urls seeds, files) it always indicates PEX is on. {see
attached screenshot.jpg)

Nope, it will not work for me; just tried again.

This is my reason for NOT using PEX.
In /mutorrent,/ it has an indicator "peer dll" telling me how fast the
leeched is downloading.
This is extremely useful to me as it indicates numerous things. (btw I
am a very experienced uploader)

1) Tells me if the Leecher is serious about downloading or just being a
roaming pest.
2) It can indicate if the Leecher is "sharing" a connection on the same
router (sometimes this is overcome by using UTP in , /mutorrent,/"enable
bandwidth management" and it seems to punch through ok, though not always)
3) It also sometimes seems to indicate that the leecher is downloading
mulltiple files simultaneously. This i have proven.
4) By NOT using PEX i can avoid slow leechers sharing with others who
want to get on with life.
I now use /mutorrent/ over Wine in conjunction with qbittorrent.

As an aside I would love to be able to delete trackers out of the
torrent permanently as some torrents have a huge amount of trackers
embedded inside the torrent file and are superfluous.
qbittorrent seems to have had private tracker sites in mind, using only
one tracker.
Ktorrent has a feature which is great. Ktorrent tells me how many
Seeders and how many leechers.
Having Seeds and Peers combination is useless to me.

I hope I have been clear about this.
Thanks
