Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-espeak

When I use espeak directly from the command line, things work fine. However, under python-espeak, trying to have it speak the same word gets mixed results.

For instance, doing something like espeak.synth('launchpad') sometimes sounds like it says something like "launchpad-e-o-circle-left"
