Wow, thanks for the fantastically prompt and detailed reply to my bug
report. I will sit tight for the fixes. I am a good python developer, let me
know if you need any help with this project.

As for the theming issue, i do not know what is causing it, but it is
definitely only happening with a specific version of the maverick
version of the ambiance/radiance themes (the default themes). This issue
has been plaguing me since maverick beta. All i can suggest at this
point is to use any theme except the default one.

For now i will mark this as invalid, since i am already working on the
issues.
