There is no difference in the PPDs concerning the PostScript code which gets sent to the printer. Only differences are the removal of unneeded UIConstraints lines and the addition of a missing colon. So it is strange that the PPD coming with Intrepid breaks the printing.

Can you switch back to the Intrepid PPD and see whether the bug appears again?
