As we don't have an limitation for add-ons, then the suspend-time will increase if more components attached. It's more reasonable if we can consider to have an adjust time map for each type of components. e.g. +0.1 for extra pci device +0.1 for extra usb device etc.. 5 seconds is quite subjective.
