OK, the real problem here I think is that the bottle ends up outside what used to be the boundaries of the picture before it was rotated, and so the picking operation (ctrl-click) doesn't work. If you pick the source somewhere else on the picture it will work, but the cloning stops if you try to clone it to somewhere outside the boundaries (like where the bottle is).
