It is another interesting thing. If I try to save to /run/... directory I get error:
You do not have access to modify '.png'. The file or folder may be read-only.

Problem in this bug report is most probably Pinta 2.x problem, I have been using Pinta 1.7 snap for months and I don't even remember ever seeing /run/... folder.

It looks to me that Pinta 2.x uses some system component to save files, but Pinta 1.7 hasn't use it.

Can this be reverted back to Pinta 1.7 behavior? If it is not a big hustle.
