I can confim the problem in Pinta 1.6 on Ubuntu 14.04 and also Pinta development 1.7.0.173 from http://forge.pinta-project.com/ also on Ubuntu 14.04.

1. Adjustments | Levels.
2. Click on Red or Green or Blue checkbox and whole Levels dialog is hidden. Expected is dialog should not close down.
