Btw: I was able to reproduce with:

libmysqlclient18_1:5.5.34-rel32.0-591.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-client-5.5_5.5.34-23.7.6-565.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-common-5.5_5.5.34-23.7.6-565.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-galera-2.x_162.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.5_5.5.34-23.7.6-565.precise

and got it working with version:
libmysqlclient18_5.5.31-23.7.5-438.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-client-5.5_5.5.31-23.7.5-438.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-common-5.5_5.5.31-23.7.5-438.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-galera-2.x_152.precise
percona-xtradb-cluster-server-5.5_5.5.31-23.7.5-438.precise

All on the same box with Ubuntu 12.04 server 64 bit (the packages were the amd64 versions).
