Thanks for sending the error log.
Just been able to take a glance at it. Looks uglier than what I expected. (e.g. not a simple timeout or similar)
Since this goes into MySQL "hardcore" debugging territory I'll ask my experienced colleagues to take a look and see if they can decipher that output.
