Hi Jervin,

Yes, the bug is still unfixed, although in progress. The cause is a change in MySQL tcp protocol and how it handles authentication, so I needed to revise the whole parsing internals, which bogged me down, .. and as often is the case, other stuff overtook priority.
Will take a new look now.
