Comment 10 for bug 1080765

Not sure if this is a red herring or not, but the only place I've run into this issue is when mixing MySQL versions. In the above example, our master is 5.5.9, and our slave is 5.5.28. We have long-run ptc in another solely 5.5.9 master/slave environment and in another solely 5.5.28 master/slave environment without ever running into this. Give me a few days to set up a 5.5.9 slave and see if the problem reproduces in that environment.
