Does this bug affect "Show tables" lookups as well? Because we have a system with roughly 45,000 tables and the "show tables" command can block for between 30 seconds and 1 minute. Would this fix that problem as well, or is only to queries run directly on the innodb_buffer_pool_pages_index table?
