I see that you only tried different flushing methods by changing the parameter --innodb_adaptive_flushing_method to different values. It would be worthwhile to test with the adaptive_flushing itself disabled, that might mean a different code path all together. I would also note that the customer who was hitting the same bug, has not have the bug seen after disabling adaptive_flushing
