Not only does it not show connection errors, when there is a error running the query of any sort, it doesn't show the error code or message. This makes troubleshooting difficult.

For example, I'm running percona-playback and seeing pretty high throughput of queries (about 5k/s) and that will continue for about 10 seconds or so, but then the throughput will drop to zero or close to it for a period of about 10 seconds, then I'll get high throughput again.

The results will report a lot of errors, but it's not clear if they are related to the inconsistant qps behavior. More information would help me determine that.
