You could probably hack this into the search macro itself. As I remember you have the infobase object for each book in the search results. Beware, I've been asked to get rid of those objects and store the publisher/author info in the search engine, as a speed optimization to avoid infobase latency. But I've been deferring that since infostore may be fast enough to not need the optimization.
