The Firmware on this laptop is capable or UEFI/Legacy boots, I set the boot option to legacy only when this failure happened. I restarted the system and set the boot option to Both (UEFI/Legacy) and set to it boot UEFI first then Legacy. I got the same failure.

ubi-partman failed with exit code 141. Further information may be available in /var/log/syslog. Do you want to try running this step again before continuing ? ... etc....
