I have added Terminal to my dock, and when I have an open terminal window (which is associated with the Terminal icon in the dock) and then use the "open terminal here" feature, a new tab in the existing window is created.

If I don't have an open terminal window and use "open terminal here" in Files, a new window is created which gets a new icon in the dock. When I hover over this new icon, the label says "Open Terminal Here" instead of "Terminal".

This is a pantheon-terminal bug which provides multiple desktop-files. So it is its responsibility to provide a common "process signature" which is matchable to a certain desktop-file (pantheon-terminal.desktop)

This is an almost two-years old really obnoxious bug, and I can confirm it is still present in 0.3.

I can't confirm that this is the case in Loki daily.

This doesn't happen in Loki Beta anymore, but a different bug has appeared. Steps:

1- Pin a terminal to Plank
2- Open some tabs in the terminal
3- Close and re-open terminal, tabs will remain visible in Terminal (in the folders they were
opened in)
4- Close Terminal.
5- Browse with Files into some folder.
6- Right click and select 'Open in/Terminal'
7- The pinned terminal will open (which is correct) but all tabs will be lost.

Should I open a new issue?
