Indeed, I had that in my TO DO list too, but I shifted a bit the focus from EVPN to BGP driver. So definitely makes sense yes.
In fact, now that we're trying to converge both drivers, probably the networking-bgpvpn would be needed as an API for the BGP drivers too, not only for the EVPN one. So it will be nice to have all the information and then each driver can leverage/enforce whatever makes sense.
