If I read the os-brick patch correctly, it is going to have brick read the username password from a config file. just a reminder that this wont work in the case of a user attaching a volume to a bare metal host unless the user has that password config file available as well. cinder client uses os-brick locally during a user attach from a BM host via the python brick cinder client extension. https://github.com/openstack/python-brick-cinderclient-ext
