We are (most likely) running into this exact problem (Our Controller Node with Rabbit is running on a VM that hiccups in regular instances. We see a lot of rabbit reconnects from all over the place). Our Cluster is hardly usable because VMs don't get started or deleted consistently.
Can you point me to a patch or tell me which file(s) you are looking at? I would like to try to hot-fix this and see if that solves (some of) our problems.
