I recompiled the 2.6.32 kernel with ACPI debugging turned on. The newly compiled kernel boots fine with bootchart installed. Hibernate also works with uswsusp installed and the /etc/pm/config.d/00sleep_module file installed as in message #76. But no matter what debug level/layer I set for ACPI, I can see nothing in the logs that hint at why there is still a 5 minute delay in resuming after pm-suspend.
