No, but that's not the point (I was using this machine only because this is the only one where I have an account and that has a non-modified bash). On any machine I *need* to modify the variables passed by the client, because their values are system-dependent (even between Linux-based machines). As variable-transformation will never be implemented in OpenSSH, this has to be done via the shell.
