OpenSRF is currently supported only for Debian and Ubuntu, which excludes sites running RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS (a free distro derived from RHEL) from even testing. I am working up a branch to provide support for installing OpenSRF on both RHEL and CentOS 8.
