Bug Description

When changing the speedof a clip, say decreasing to 1/5. the length of the clip stays the same. In most cases, it would be preferable to increase the size of the clip (in this example: times 5).

Originally, this is exactly how it worked. But after a few
suggestions, we modified it to not change the length of the clip.
Maybe we should open this back up for discussion? Or provide a
setting for that behavior. Thanks!

Yes, it would be nice if this can be controlled by the user, in stead of hardcoded.

A checkbox (default: on, my personal preference) on the tabpage or an extra dialog ("The speed has been changed, should the length of the clip be adapted?") would be fine.

Possibly ask the user a question to change the length of the clip when changing the speed?

Since speed does not work with MLT yet... ummm? ahem... :)

Has this been addressed yet. Of course the clip length must change. If it doesn't change then you wont have the full clip in slow motion.
