The issue still occurs.
Dan Dennedy (MLT) is aware of some A/V sync issues with AVCHD that step from the problems with ffmpeg that I mentioned.
I'll keep an eye on the ffmpeg patches since Dan can't add improved seek to MLT until they're working correctly.
