The usual behavior for text- and number-based entry boxes, no matter the purpose) is to allow the context menu with Cut, Copy, Paste, (Undo). Indeed, these are already allowed through keyboard shortcuts in this application already. The OO.o implementation is non-standard and lacks a simple expected feature.
