Your suggested patch has been merged in server revision 3147 <email address hidden>.

I had to change a few things during the merge to adapt to latest code, but also improved the logic a bit to use a nested multipart/alternative part when including both html and plaintext, instead of keeping them in the main multipart/mixed, which would cause most MUAs to display both parts one after the other.
