Bug Description

When synchronizing terms I can't translate a placeholder in untranslated terms.

I see nowhere in po files a placeholder that has been translated.

Am I missing something or placeholder aren't translatable ?

Hello Yannick Vaucher,

I do have the same problem.

How ever you can try with this minimal patch:

Placeholders are actually translatable but the extractor/synchronize process did not properly extract them, so they had to be manually entered in the database or PO files. The correction for the extractor has landed in server 7.0 at revision 4871 (rev-id: <email address hidden>)

The PO templates should be re-synchronized in a few hours.

In the mean time if you want to manually add an entry for a placeholder in a PO file you can use the following example:

#. module: sale
#: view:sale.order:0
msgid "Terms and conditions..."
msgstr "Conditions générales de vente..."

Hello, thanks fro fixing this. You say that the po templates will synchronized in a few hours. Is it me, or are the po templates not synchronized?

The translation templates have now been re-exported and should be available in the translation interface for all translators. About 200 new terms were introduced across all modules.

We can see the placeholder terms in the translation interface already, for example here is one:
