Repeated variations on the error set here. Most recently, and somewhat less irritatingly:

Multi Company setup.
Go to Projects as User A (not Admin)
Create New Project
Change setting from Public to Followers Only
press red Save
Get ERROR about permissions.

Change to back to Public
press red save
PROJECT Saves
press edit
Change to Followers only (THIS SHOULD BE DEFAULT)
press red Save
PROJECT SAVES without ERROR

so parts of the settings are reading well. other parts not.
