Don't remove the xx.po files; they'll be re-written by the export process!

Also, addons_account_i18n_account-pl.po is not a good filename for a Polish translation. The filename should be just the language code followed by ".po": pl.po. The extra text only makes it impossible for Launchpad to guess that the -pl stands for a language code and not for, say, Perl. You indicate the template by putting the PO file in the same directory as the template.
